Desde 1975 la población saharaui ha sido obligada a vivr entre dos tierras. Hasta 1975 el territorio del Sahara Occidental fue provincia española. Desde 1975 ha sido ocupado violentamente por Marruecos. Una parte de los saharauis viven en campos de refugiados en el desierto en el sur de Argelia esperando la resolución de la ONU para dejarlos ser un país. Los nómadas y los militares viven en los territorios liberados del Sahara Occidental.

El video A pleno sol presenta algunos miembros del Frente Popular de Liberación de Saguía el Hamra y Río de Oro o Frente Polisario hablando de distintos asuntos en torno a la representación. De acuerdo a las palabras del Rubio las películas de Spaguetti Western fueron las favoritas del pueblo saharaui. Siguiendo sus palabras fui a los estudios filmicos en Almeria, España, donde fueron grabadas dichas películas.

Since 1975 the population of Western Sahara has been forced to live betwee two lands. Until 1975 the territory of Western Sahara was Spanish colony. Since 1975 it has been violently ocuppied by Morocco. Part of the sahrawi population live in refugee camps in the desert south of Argelia awaiting for the resolution of the ONU to let them be an autonomous country. The nomadic people and the military men live in the Liberated Territory of Western Sahara.

The video A pleno sol (Under the full sun) presents different members of military corps of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Saguia el Hamra and Río de Oro, or Frente Polisario speaking about military representations in relation to cinema narratives. According to the words of El Rubio, communication manager of the Western Sahara in Sevilla, the Spaghetti Western films were the favorite films of the sahrawi people. Following his words I went to the Film Studios in Almeria, Spain, where these films were recorded. These images built the second layer of the video.
